As a start-up outdoor education non-profit, Global Explorers responded to new opportunities quickly and clearly. The executive leadership chooses extraordinary projects and partners that make them unique among their peers. Leading the Way, a program for blind and sighted students regularly receives national media attention for climbs of Mount Kilimanjaro and Macchu Pichu. Working with middle and high school students, not to mention blind and low-vision users, requires expert attention to accessibility and ease of use.
